The communities of Clermont, Elgin and Elkader in Fayette and Clayton Counties are linked by the special, scenic beauty of the Turkey River corridor. Visitors relish in the abundance of wooded hills and rich rolling plains, streams and rivers, diverse wildlife and recreational opportunities. The corridor communities are linked in a common mission to develop and enhance the existing natural resource base of the Turkey River Corridor through the creation of land and water trails infrastructure.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, this is a summer-long adventure that will take you and your family to new and favorite places along the Turkey River Corridor. Register on our site, after you have registered, a form will be emailed to you, print that form, and take it to a public library in Clermont, Elgin or Elkader or to Osborne Nature Center to get your FREE Safari kit.
